Christopher Gruendl, AIA | Associate
Chris is a Registered Architect and Associate who has been with R3A since 2006. He began his career in the industry in 1999 managing and designing a wide range of project types with an emphasis on manufacturing, laboratory, medical, and fast-track project delivery. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, he has a passion for developing high quality buildings suited to each client's needs.
Chris has extensive experience researching building and life safety requirements for projects that utilize hazardous quantities of flammable, combustible, or corrosive materials. Recently, he was recognized as part of the design team for the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, which received the Honor Award in Architecture from AIA Pittsburgh.
Chris also enjoys racing triathlon and bike commuting.
