James A. Sheehan, AIA, LEED AP | Principal
As a Principal of R3A, Jim Sheehan is responsible for marketing and new project development, feasibility studies, programming, conceptual design, site utilization analysis, as well as managing project teams. Throughout his past twenty-nine years in practice, Jim has developed a specialty in integrated project administration and has been responsible for the delivery of complex commercial, industrial and institutional projects. Prior to R3A, Jim was a founding Principal of Sheehan & Holler Architects, Inc., Pittsburgh, from 1989 to 1997.
In addition to maintaining a license to practice architecture in four contiguous states, Jim is licensed to practice real estate in the state of Pennsylvania. He provides development management and analysis to clients who require expanded services in addition to traditional architectural and engineering expertise. Jim is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
Jim is a long time board member for the Pittsburgh chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He has been a member of the East End Lacrosse Associate since its inception, and has coached lacrosse for 13 years.
