CMU Tepper Quadrangle Ground Breaking

On October 30th, Carnegie Mellon University broke ground on the North side of Forbes Ave to begin one of their largest campus expansions.  R3A, along with executive and design architect Moore Ruble Yudell Architects & Planners of Santa Monica, CA, attended the ground breaking ceremony which begins the construction of a new center for University education, research and interdisciplinary communications.

How the Danes Turned Active Construction Sites Into Public Art

Copenhagen is currently in the midst of constructing 17 new Metro stations, planned for completion in 2018.  Instead of walling off the 17 construction sites with chain link fencing and a visual assault of "Construction Site - Keep Out" and "Danger" signs, the Danes have yet again embraced the opportunity to beautify the urban landscape, and turned massive construction barriers into public art displays.
