Project Manager

Job Description:

R3A Architecture (www.r3a.com) is looking to expand our studio with a creative, driven, and technologically savvy Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years’ previous experience in an architecture/interior design firm. Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all aspects of a project, including programming, research, document production, and construction administration 
  • Supporting business development and marketing efforts, including assistance with RFP responses and project interviews
  • Acting as a project’s main point-of-contact, and lead collaboration efforts with internal team, owners, consultants, and contractors
  • Assisting project team with document production as needed, including drawings and specifications
  • Assisting Project Architect / Project Interior Designer with QA/QC of documents as needed
  • Assisting Project Architect with code research as needed
  • Leading coordination with construction team through all phases of project delivery
  • Managing internal team staffing and project invoicing
  • Managing project schedule and budget
  • Managing project closeout documentation
  • Maintaining excellent client rapport and relationships

 

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  • Architectural Registration. Registration in PA is not specifically required, but desirable, as reciprocity can be achieved if necessary
  • 7 years minimum Architectural Project Management experience with an architectural/interior design firm
  • Superb verbal and written communication ability.
  • Confident, engaging and proactive
  • High level of conceptual thinking as related to architecture and interior environment design
  • Aptitude to engage in iterative design processes
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and other design software
  • Interest and experience in implementation of sustainable design strategies
  • Previous experience with laboratories or higher education institutions is strongly preferred, but not required

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with higher education, science and technology, manufacturing (including Industry 4.0), and smart workplace design.
  • Interest in sustainable design strategies
  • LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification 
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Deltek Ajera, and various PIM software such as Newforma, Constructware, ProCore, etc.
