The project is set back at ground level along Smallman Street, creating a raised, covered colonnade that accesses retail storefronts and the office entry. Along 15th Street, the project has incorporated numerous public improvements, which include a wider sidewalk, a new bike lane, new street trees, public seating, and bike racks for public use. The ground floor of Penn Avenue consists of a large bike storage room, enclosed and secure for tenants and the public. The remainder of the Penn Avenue frontage consists of off-street loading entries, parking entries and a dual-height, fully glazed space, envisioned as a “bike cafe” serving as a neighborhood hub for local cycling enthusiasts. The 16th Street frontage consists of a second set of parking entries and a raised, ADA accessible, urban public plaza.
