28th and Larkin Townhouses

R3A designed this townhouse cluster on a vacant infill lot on the Southside. The 4-level units make efficient use of the tight corner lot to stack the living spaces in a manner that maximizes access to daylight and views. The townhouses use an exterior palette of rain screen cladding and cement board siding with storefront sections in a contemporary composition that fits into the scale of the neighborhood, while providing a contrast to the traditional character of the surrounding housing styles.
