The scope of work encompassed selective demolition, drywall and finishes, plumbing, electrical, front- and back-of-house equipment upgrades and installation, interior design and outfit, as well as new millwork in the cafe, vending, and dining areas. The construction process had to navigate around the challenge of working in an occupied building. R3A divided the project into multiple phases to most efficiently meet an aggressive construction deadline to meet this challenge. Some of the major design goals R3A implemented in this project were improving vendor traffic flow, maximizing employee cold food storage, and maximizing efficiency in queuing, online purchasing, and pickup.
