Crawford Square

Crawford Square is a multi-family housing development managed by McCormack Baron Salazar, originally built in the mid 1990s – the development includes 41 buildings and 347 units located in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. R3A was tasked to document the existing conditions and renovate all units in a phased construction approach, while also renovating the existing 19 ADA/UFAS compliant units, 7 Type A and 20 Type B adaptable units to bring them into full compliance as a requirement of the PHFA funding requirements. The scope of the renovations within the units included new finishes, new windows, new kitchen casework and appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and AC / Furnace units. Each building also received new roofs, exterior lighting, exterior and common area finish upgrades, and new decks.
