The laboratory space is broken up into two separate lab types. A biochemistry lab, located at the north side of the 13th floor, and a traditional synthetic laboratory which is located on the southern side. These two lab spaces are separated by a write-up space which is shared between both users. This layout allows for users to easily move between both labs, and fosters interaction between the two researcher groups.
Chevron Science Center includes the majority of the wet lab teaching facilities used by undergraduate and graduate chemistry students and is home to the organic, synthetic and inorganic research facilities for the internationally recognized chemistry research faculty.
