R3A developed a sub-division plan, site and building design for a residential neighborhood in Aspinwall, PA.
The character of this 80-year-old community housing stock was retained and expanded in the design maintaining a street edge, steps, porches and gabled roofs similar to adjacent housing.
A design-build construction process allowed for design development to be modified by value engineering to produce an economical product. Where feasible recycled materials and ‘green building’ technology has been employed.
