University of Pittsburgh
The university has identified a strategic selection of fifteen parcels in the Oakland neighborhood bounded by Sennott Street, Atwood Street, and Oakland Avenue as a potential student housing development. R3A’s study aims to demonstrate the density of housing achievable within the parameters of the IMP adjustments to the zoning codes, building codes, and contextual compatibility. Further, this analysis will also serve as a template for the redevelopment of Bouquet Gardens, located directly to the north of the subject site, which aims to achieve higher utilization.
